Job Description
The Retail Sales Representative is responsible for driving sales and revenue by actively engaging customers, understanding their needs, recommending suitable products, and providing excellent customer service.
The role involves maintaining product knowledge, achieving assigned sales targets, ensuring proper product display, and contributing to the smooth operation of the retail outlet.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome and attend to customers in a professional and friendly manner.
Identify customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
Promote and sell company products to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
Explain product features, benefits, prices, warranties, and available promotions to customers.
Demonstrate products and assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.
Maintain excellent customer relationships and encourage repeat purchases.
Education
OND, NCE, HND, or Bachelor''s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Management, Social Sciences, or a related field is an advantage.
Experience
0–2 years of experience in retail sales, customer service, marketing, or a related position.
Candidates with relevant sales experience in mobile phones, electronics, telecommunications, FMCG, fashion, or other retail businesses are preferred.
Fresh graduates with strong communication and sales abilities may also be considered.
