Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Grinder Operator to operate and monitor industrial plastic grinding/granulating equipment used in the recycling and processing of waste plastic materials. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience operating plastic recycling machinery and be able to maintain efficient machine performance and consistent material output.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor plastic grinding/granulating machines.
Feed waste plastic materials into the grinder according to production requirements.
Monitor machine performance and ensure consistent output.
Inspect processed plastic materials for quality and proper size.
Clear minor blockages and carry out basic machine adjustments.
Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of grinding equipment.
Report machine faults, abnormal sounds, overheating or other operational issues.
Follow production procedures and workplace safety standards.
Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE/OND or relevant technical qualification.
2–5 years\'' experience operating plastic grinding, granulating, shredding or recycling machines.
Experience in a plastic manufacturing or recycling environment is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of plastic materials and recycling processes is an advantage.
Ability to operate machinery safely and identify basic machine faults.
Physically fit and able to work in a factory environment.
Good attention to detail and ability to follow production instructions.
