About CENSCOPE

The Centre for Social Cohesion, Peace and Empowerment (CENSCOPE) is a national non-profit organization duly registered with Nigeria’s Corporate Affairs Commission. Established in 2018 and headquartered in Maiduguri, Borno State, CENSCOPE was founded in response to the humanitarian crisis resulting from armed conflict and natural disasters.

CENSCOPE is committed to promoting self-sustainability, equality, and social justice, with programmatic focus on peacebuilding, social cohesion, protection, gender equality and inclusion, livelihoods, education, WASH, climate change, health, and nutrition. The organization works in partnership with national and international stakeholders, including UN agencies and international non-governmental organizations, to deliver principled humanitarian assistance and support long-term development outcomes.

With Malala Fund support, it is running a three-year project to advance Gender-Responsive Education Budgeting (GREB) in Borno State; securing budget lines for the re-entry and retention of married, pregnant and parenting girls in education.

Role purpose

To provide programme and administrative support that keeps field operations, documentation and logistics running smoothly throughout implementation.

Key responsibilities

Provide logistical and administrative support to field missions and trainings.

Maintain activity records, attendance sheets, consent forms and documentation.

Support community scheduling and follow-up with participants and monitors.

Assist with data entry and the safe handling and storage of participant information.

Qualification & Specification

Essential

Diploma or degree in a relevant field, with strong organization and record-keeping skills.

1–2 years'' NGO administrative or field-support experience.

Based in, or able to work across, the target LGAs; Hausa and/or Kanuri preferred.

Desirable

Computer literacy (MS Office); attention to detail and confidentiality.
