Founded in 1991, Secours Islamique France (SIF) is a national and international non-governmental organization that has responded to humanitarian and social needs in France and around the world for more than three decades. The SIF Kenya and Somalia Mission, registered in 2012, implements humanitarian and development programmes across both countries, focusing on Education and Child Protection, Food Security and Livelihoods, and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH).
Position Overview
SIF is seeking an experienced and motivated Program Manager to lead the implementation and coordination of activities under the FIFSAN programme in Kismayo, Somalia. Based in Kismayo, Jubaland State, Somalia, the position involves regular field visits to Dhobley and Jamaame and travel to Nairobi as required for coordination.
Qualifications and Experience
A university degree in International Development, Humanitarian Studies, Nutrition, Public Health, Agriculture, Livelihoods, Project Management or a related field.
At least seven years of progressive experience with humanitarian or non-profit organizations.
A minimum of four years of supervisory or management experience.
