Key Duties and Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, learner-centred lessons that meet students’ diverse learning needs.
Apply effective and innovative teaching methods that promote critical thinking, creativity, and active learning.
Assess, monitor, and document students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and relevant stakeholders to support students’ academic and personal development.
Maintain a safe, disciplined, inclusive, and conducive classroom environment that promotes effective learning.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree or NCE or a related field from a recognised institution.
2–10 years of relevant teaching experience, preferably at the Primary School level.
Must be able to teach or speak Hausa Language effectively.
TRCN certification, or evidence of ongoing TRCN certification or relevant education qualification.
Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver effective, results-oriented lessons.
Strong classroom management skills with the ability to engage, motivate, and support learners.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal and collaborative abilities.
