Job Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Sales manager to lead and scale their pharmaceutical sales operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue and market share growth across assigned territories, managing a team of sales representative, strengthening relationships with hospitals, pharmacies and distributors.
The Ideal candidate must be a proven pharma sales leader currently operating at zonal sales manager (ZSM), Regional sales manager(RSM), or category sales Manager level with track record of hitting territory targets, managing a field sales team and navigating the pharmaceutical distribution and regulatory landscape.
Requirements
Bachelor''s Degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field. A degree in Pharmacy is an advantage but not mandatory.
Minimum of 7+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience, currently holding a Zonal Sales Manager (ZSM), Regional Sales Manager (RSM), or Category Sales Manager role, with at least 5+ years managing a field sales team.
Demonstrated history of consistently meeting or exceeding territory/zonal revenue and market share targets in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.
Superior consultative selling, presentation, and negotiation skills across pharmacists, hospital procurement teams, distributors, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
Strong leadership, coaching, and field team management skills
Working knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (NAFDAC) and distribution channels in Nigeria
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
