Job Summary
Our client is seeking a competent and experienced Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the salon.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience as a hair stylist, be comfortable interacting with customers, and be able to coordinate the activities of stylists and other beauty professionals to ensure smooth service delivery and an excellent customer experience.
Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the salon to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
Supervise, coordinate, and support salon staff to ensure high standards of performance and professionalism.
Welcome customers, understand their service needs, and direct them to the appropriate stylist or service section.
Coordinate customer flow, appointments, and service schedules to minimise waiting time and ensure a positive customer experience.
Handle customer enquiries and complaints professionally and escalate complex issues to management when necessary.
Support salon staff during busy periods and provide hair styling, or braiding services when required.
Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, grooming, and compliance with salon procedures.
Ensure the salon environment, equipment, and workstations are clean, organised, and properly maintained.
Monitor the availability of salon supplies and communicate replenishment needs to management.
Identify operational challenges and recommend practical solutions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Maintain basic operational records and provide relevant updates to management.
Requirements
First Degree in any related discipline.
1 year experience in a supervisory, coordination, or leadership role.
Ability to lead, and organize
Good communication skills.
Customer-focused with a friendly and professional attitude.
Basic knowledge of record keeping and reporting.
Ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision.
Hair-making skills are an added advantage.
Proximity to Lekki axis is strongly preferred.
