Job Summary
The Operations & Dispatch Hub Supervisor will oversee daily operations and dispatch activities at the hub, ensuring efficient coordination of teams, timely order or delivery handling, and smooth operational workflows. The successful candidate will use their knowledge of Addis Ababa's commercial areas and road networks to support effective dispatch planning, team coordination, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily operations and dispatch activities at the hub.
Manage and support team members to ensure smooth and efficient workflows.
Coordinate dispatch operations and help ensure timely delivery or service fulfillment.
Use detailed knowledge of Addis Ababa's commercial areas, road networks, and shortcuts to support efficient routing.
Monitor operational activities and address day-to-day challenges promptly.
Support effective communication and coordination among team members and relevant stakeholders.
Educational Qualifications
University Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Work Experience
1–2 years of direct experience managing teams within local ride-hailing networks or distribution hubs.
Required Skills & Competencies
Detailed geographical knowledge of Addis Ababa's commercial sectors, road networks, and shortcuts.
Conversational fluency in Amharic is mandatory.
Knowledge of English or Afaan Oromoo is highly valuable.
Strong team supervision, coordination, and communication skills.
Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
