The Program will provide the overall program support to the program team. S/he will coordinate workshops; meetings travel and logistics. S/he will also be reviewing and finalizing project documents and reports and other administrative tasks as needed for REACH Malaria Project.

The Logistics and Operations Support Officer plans, coordinates, and supports logistics and operational activities to ensure effective delivery of organizational programs and services. The role oversees transportation, inventory, training coordination, procurement support, and administrative operations while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Management

Work closely with PATH Ethiopia logistic officer on coordinate transportation arrangements for staff, goods, and equipment

Work closely with the PATH logistics officer and drivers to process fuel advance requests and liquidations, ensuring proper log sheets, fuel receipts, and vehicle reports are maintained.

Monitor vehicle utilization, maintenance schedules, and fuel consumption.

Track and update project stock records and asset registers.

Ensure timely delivery and distribution of project supplies.

Operations Support

Assist in planning and coordinating operational activities.

Support office administration and field implementation sites.

Coordinate meetings, workshops, and field travel arrangements.

Ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures.

Maintain accurate operational documentation and records.

Procurement Support

Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations.

Prepare purchase requests and purchase orders.

Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Maintain complete procurement files and supporting documents.

Compile training payment documents, including support letters, attendance sheets, and registration forms.

Review purchase requisitions for goods and services, coordinate processing, and follow up on delivery.

Reporting and Documentation

Prepare periodic logistics and operations reports.

Maintain inventory, asset, and vehicle management records.

Monitor logistics performance indicators and recommend improvements.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics, procurement, operations, or supply chain management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
