CBM Christoffel-Blindenmission Christian Blind Mission e.V. (CBM) is inviting qualified real estate agents, property consultants, and property owners to support the identification and assessment of suitable office accommodation in Nairobi for its Kenya Country Office. The assignment includes sourcing both a short-term furnished serviced office solution and a long-term office relocation option that meets CBM's operational, accessibility, security, and business continuity requirements for approximately 55 staff members.

About the Assignment:

CBM is an international Christian development organisation committed to improving the quality of life of persons with disabilities and other marginalised populations living in low-income communities. As part of its operational requirements in Kenya, CBM seeks suitable office premises within Nairobi that provide a professional, accessible, secure, and inclusive working environment while supporting future organisational growth.

The assignment covers two office accommodation options:

  • Short-Term Solution: Fully furnished and serviced office space accommodating approximately 55 staff, with flexible lease arrangements and access to meeting and training facilities.
  • Long-Term Solution: Permanent office premises capable of supporting current operations and projected growth, including meeting facilities, collaboration spaces, accessibility features, and reliable infrastructure services.

Preferred locations include Westlands, Riverside, Kilimani/Lavington, Waiyaki Way Corridor, and Lower Kabete/Parklands Corridor.

All expressions of interest should include the following:

  • Company profile and brief description of the firm.
  • Evidence of experience in commercial real estate advisory, office search, leasing, or property consultancy services.
  • Portfolio of similar assignments undertaken for NGOs, international organisations, development agencies, embassies, or corporate entities.
  • Proposed approach and methodology for identifying and assessing suitable office premises.
  • Details of proposed properties, including location, available office space, rental and service charge breakdown, floor plans, parking allocation, accessibility features, lease terms, and availability.
  • Company registration documents and statutory compliance certificates, including KRA PIN and Tax Compliance Certificate.
  • Valid Business Permit and any other applicable registration documents.
