Job Responsibilities
- Familiar with testing theories: Proficient in software engineering and mainstream testing theories;
- Understand the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing processes: From requirement analysis, test planning, test case design, to defect tracking and test report generation.
- Knowledge and experience of developing test case design: Able to skillfully apply methods such as equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis, scenario-based testing, and error guessing to design efficient test cases.
- Proficient in using defect tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, and Mantis, and able to clearly and standardly describe bugs and drive their resolution.
- Familiar with Huawei NGBSS product business, with relevant project delivery and testing experience preferred.
- Strong communication and coordination skills. Testers need to actively communicate with requirement analysts, developers, and customers, promptly identify bugs, and drive their resolution.
- Business comprehension: Able to quickly grasp business logic and identify deep-seated logical defects from the perspective of user experience and product applicability.
Skills Required
- OS: Be proficient in using common Linux/Unix commands, and be able to independently view logs and configure test environments.
- Database: Be proficient in SQL statements (such as MySQL, Oracle, and SQL Server), and be able to perform multi-table query, data construction, and data verification.
- Network protocols: Be familiar with network protocols such as TCP/IP and HTTP/HTTPS, and be able to use packet capture tools (such as Fiddler, Charles, and Wireshark).
- Function/API testing: Be proficient in using Postman and JMeter to perform API tests. Have experience in testing web, app (Android/iOS), and mini programs.
- Automated testing: Be proficient in at least one programming language (Python or Java). Be proficient in mainstream automated testing frameworks, such as Selenium and Playwright (UI automation) or Pytest/TestNG (API automation).
- Performance testing: Be proficient in using pressure test tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner. Be able to design pressure test scenarios and have the ability to analyze and optimize system performance bottlenecks.
About You
Education and Major requirements
Bachelor degree or above, majoring in software engineering or related fields.
Project Experience
Preference will be given to those who have worked on NGBSS-related projects.
Requirement Skill
React hooks, context API, and Next.js specific features like Middleware and API Routes.
