Job Overview
To drive sustainable growth within modern trade accounts by executing best-in-class merchandising strategies, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and fostering strong partnerships with store management to enhance brand presence and consumer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Execute and maintain planograms to ensure 100% brand visibility and shelf standards
Monitor on-shelf availability and coordinate immediate replenishment to prevent out-of-stocks
Secure and set up secondary displays, such as end-caps, floor stands, and island units
Negotiate premium shelf space and additional facings with store management
Coordinate in-store promotions and ensure all POS materials are correctly installed
Audit competitor activity, including pricing, new launches, and promotional tactics
Conduct regular stock rotations (FIFO) to minimize expiries and damages
Submit digital field reports with photo evidence of shelf execution and pricing
Train in-store promoters on product features and sales techniques
Liaise with store supervisors to resolve delivery discrepancies or pricing errors
Analyze store-level sales data to identify and act on growth opportunities
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Maintain 95% or higher on-shelf availability for all core product lines
Achieve 100% planogram compliance across all assigned retail outlets
Keep stock-out rates below 5% through proactive shelf replenishment
Secure at least 2–3 secondary displays (end-caps/islands) per store monthly
Ensure 100% of promotional POS materials are installed by the campaign launch date
Maintain or increase Share of Shelf (SOS) by 5–10% against key competitors
Report competitor pricing and activity via digital tools on a weekly basis
Keep product expiry/damage rates below 1% through strict FIFO rotation
Complete 100% of scheduled store visits as per the monthly beat plan.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field with 2-3 years retailing experience in FMCG or consumer electronics
Minimum of 2 years in a modern retail role
Proven experience in marketing
