Purpose:
To safely operate cranes for lifting and moving heavy materials and equipment as directed.
Main Duties:
Operate all-terrain cranes up to 400 tons and other mobile cranes as assigned.
Check crane, wire ropes, hooks, and slings before use.
Carry out daily maintenance and inspection of the crane.
Follow all safety rules and supervisor instructions during lifting work.
Work with riggers and signalers during lifting operations.
Report any faults or safety issues immediately.
Assist in simple site tasks like loading, unloading, or minor repairs when needed.
Requirements
Valid crane operator license.
At least 5 years of experience operating heavy cranes.
Must know how to read load charts and understand rigging signals.
Physically fit and safety conscious.
Able to show proof of previous crane operation.
