Major Responsibilities:
Conduct routine and specialised laboratory tests on patiebt samples.
Analyze results and provide accurate reports to support diagnosis and treatment.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and documentation of laboratory specimens.
Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure quality control procedures are followed.
Adhere to all laboratory safety protocols and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS)
Valid Medical Laboratory Scientist License (MLSCN)
Ability to maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.
Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex medical concepts for clients or colleagues.
Other Requirement:
Minimum of 2 years post-NYSC professional work experience.
Proven experience working as a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
Demonstrated ability to operate both electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment.
Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
