Key Responsibilities
Counsel patients throughout the registration and post-treatment journey.
Explain medical conditions, recommended procedures, and associated costs to patients and their families.
Provide clear and accurate information to help patients understand their treatment options.
Follow up with patients and support them in making informed decisions regarding their care.
Build positive relationships with patients and ensure a high-quality patient experience.
Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and convincing skills.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Counselling, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a related field with 3 years experience.
Female candidates are preferred.
Fluency in Hausa and English is required.
Previous experience in counselling, healthcare, customer service, or a patient-facing role is an advantage.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Good convincing and persuasive skills, with the ability to effectively communicate treatment options and encourage patients to make informed decisions.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
