Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the school''s curriculum and academic standards.
Develop effective lesson plans using differentiated instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs.
Integrate educational technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom instruction.
Assess student progress regularly and provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents.
Maintain accurate online and offline records of attendance, assessments, and academic performance.
Foster critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a genuine passion for learning.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching, learning, and the overall student experience.
Prepare students for excellence in
WAEC
,
NECO
, and other external examinations, and competitions.
Qualifications & Experience
Mathematics/Further Mathematics:
B.Sc.(Ed.) in Mathematics or a related field,
or
B.Sc. in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
plus a PGDE
.
Teaching qualification (B.Ed., PGDE, PGCE, NCE, or equivalent) is required where applicable.
Strong subject knowledge with excellent classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the effective use of educational technology.
Experience teaching the
Nigerian and/or British Curriculum
is an added advantage.
Demonstrated ability to prepare students for
WAEC
,
NECO
, and other external examinations.
Mature, professional, diligent, and committed to continuous professional development.
Strong subject knowledge, excellent classroom management, and communication skills.
