Job Summary
Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, and supervising the general service activities of the institution. The role oversees property management, asset registers, vendor contracts, safety compliance, and the daily operations of the institution’s fleet, generators, and motorcycles, utilizing GPS telematics and structured logistics policies to drive operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
General Services & Policy Oversight:
Develop and implement general service policies, oversee office buildings, workspaces, utilities, and vendor contracts, and handle space planning and renovations.
Asset & Property Management:
Maintain an updated asset register, manage company-owned and leased properties, monitor lease agreements, and coordinate asset disposal, write-offs, and property documentation.
Fleet & Logistics Management:
Direct daily fleet operations, vehicle scheduling, dispatch, maintenance programs, and regulatory compliance including insurance renewals and third-party inspections.
GPS & Telematics Monitoring:
Manage GPS systems, analyze telematics reports to optimize fuel consumption and route performance, and monitor driver behavior.
Team Leadership & Reporting:
Supervise and appraise general service staff, authorize resource requests within limits, and prepare periodic management reports.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
Education
BA Degree in Procurement & Supplies Management, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
7 years of relevant experience, out of which 2 years must be in a senior position.

Integrated knowledge of support services concepts, strong interpersonal abilities, and basic computer proficiency.
