Founded in 1991, Secours Islamique France (SIF) is an international NGO that has worked in France and around the world for over 30 years. The SIF Kenya and Somalia Mission was registered in 2012 and implements humanitarian and development programs in Education and Child Welfare, Food Security and Livelihoods, and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) interventions to support vulnerable communities.
Position overview
SIF is seeking a qualified and motivated Logistics Assistant to support the implementation of its operations in Kismayo, Somalia, under the FIFSAN program. The Logistics Assistant will provide day-to-day operational and technical support across procurement, logistics, asset tracking and office administration.
Qualifications and Experience
A degree or diploma in Purchasing and Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
At least two years of relevant experience in logistics, procurement or supply chain management with a non-governmental organization (NGO).
A valid driving licence is an added advantage.
