Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing high-quality pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. This role is suitable for recent pharmacy graduates or individuals looking to gain valuable experience in a pharmacy setting.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense medications and counsel patients with accuracy and care.
Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications according to prescriptions.
Provide excellent customer service by answering patient inquiries and offering medication-related advice.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with applicable regulations.
Support senior pharmacists in managing inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring medication expiration dates.
Participate in medication therapy management and provide information regarding drug interactions and potential side effects.
Assist with health screenings and immunization services as required.
Stay updated on new drugs, therapies, and pharmacy regulations to provide accurate information to patients and healthcare professionals.
Select and process orders, including online and e-commerce orders.
Work hands-on with digital systems and pharmacy technology.
Support and mentor teammates in a fast-paced, high-standard environment.
Take on responsibilities that go beyond a typical pharmacy role as required.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy.
Valid professional pharmacy license or eligibility for licensure through an authorized institution.
1–3 years or more of community retail pharmacy/dispensary experience.
Previous experience in a retail or clinical pharmacy setting is an advantage.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and best practices.

Flexible with working hours, including shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to work under the direction of the branch manager.
Staff are expected to follow the branch manager’s direction regarding schedules, assignments, and day-to-day decisions.
