Job Summary
The Junior IT Officer will support the organization’s day-to-day IT operations by maintaining computer systems, networks, software, databases, and other IT equipment. The role involves providing technical assistance to employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting network connectivity, maintaining data security and backup procedures, and ensuring the reliable operation of IT infrastructure, including CCTV camera systems.
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; alternatively, a relevant diploma with the required experience.
Fresh graduates who have successfully passed the university exit examination are encouraged to apply.
Required Competencies
Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, and network administration.
Familiarity with database management, data backup and recovery, and cybersecurity principles.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, printers, software, and other IT equipment.
Provide technical support to employees and resolve hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
Monitor and maintain LAN/WAN networks, routers, switches, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and internet connectivity.
Assist with database management, data organization, system updates, and performance monitoring.
Implement IT security measures, manage user accounts and access permissions, and update antivirus software.
Perform regular data backups and assist with data recovery and disaster recovery procedures.
Install, test, and update operating systems, business applications, and database management systems.
Monitor system performance, identify technical risks, and recommend improvements.
Maintain IT asset inventories, technical documentation, and records of IT incidents and maintenance activities.
Assist with IT system upgrades, capacity planning, and the implementation of new technologies.
Guide and train employees on the proper use of IT systems, applications, and information security practices.
Coordinate with relevant departments and external IT service providers to ensure effective technical support.
Install, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot company CCTV camera systems, including recording devices, video storage, and network connectivity, to ensure reliable operation and effective security monitoring.
Perform other related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.
