We are seeking a
Junior Account Officer
to join our Finance Department and provide accounting and administrative support to the team.
The successful candidate will assist with payroll processing, PAYE computation, statutory deductions, invoicing, expense classification, and other day-to-day accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with monthly payroll preparation and processing.
Support PAYE computation and statutory compliance.
Assist with Pension, NHF, NSITF, WHT and VAT-related activities.
Prepare and maintain accounting and financial records.
Support invoice billing and documentation.
Assist with proper classification and recording of expenses.
Monitor and maintain records of statutory remittances.
Support account reconciliations and other Finance Department activities.
Ensure accuracy, confidentiality and timely completion of assigned tasks.
Requirements
Bachelor''s degree or HND in Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of payroll processing and PAYE computation.
Understanding of Nigerian tax and statutory requirements.
Knowledge of invoice billing and expense classification.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
High level of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism.
