Job Summary
As the Investment Analyst, you will support the investment function through market research, financial modelling, valuation, investment analysis, and recommendations to support sound investment decisions.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify investment opportunities, monitor market trends, and assess potential risks and returns.
Build financial models and perform valuation analysis to evaluate the financial viability and attractiveness of potential investments.
Develop investment proposals, reports, presentations, and recommendations for clients, senior management, and relevant investment committees.
Monitor investment performance, portfolio trends, and market developments while identifying emerging opportunities and potential risks.
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support investment decision-making and execution.
Stay current with financial markets, industry developments, regulations, and investment best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, financial analysis, investment banking, asset management, or a similar role.
Strong background in Finance/Investment Banking, with good understanding of financial markets and investment principles.
Proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, Microsoft Excel, and investment analysis tools.
Strong analytical, research, report-writing, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to interpret market data and provide clear, commercially relevant investment recommendations.
