Job Summary
The Internal Control Officer will be responsible for ensuring a strong internal control environment. The position will work to foster standardization and consistency across the company''s business processes and internal controls.
Responsibilities
Deliver timely reporting on the internal control framework and control deficiencies
Actively engage with internal and external auditors to ensure resolution of all relevant audit findings.
Spot, assess, and address risks and translate it into impact analysis.
Requirements
B.Sc/HND in Accounting
ICAN qualification is an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years'' practical experience, 2 of which must be from manufacturing companies.
Qualities:
A critical thinker and highly organized.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Computer literate with the ability to navigate the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong understanding and experience with internal control frameworks.
Strong oral and written communication skills
Sound presentation skills.
