Job Responsibilities
Lead the Vision: Oversee the entire design and estimation process, from initial concept to final production.
Innovate & Create: Translate client briefs into creative, practical, and stunning furniture designs.
Ensure Accuracy: Prepare precise cost estimates, quotations, and bills of quantities for all projects.
Collaborate: Partner with production, procurement, and sales teams to ensure designs are feasible and align with budgets.
Maintain Standards: Approve final drawings, materials, and finishes, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards and industry regulations.
Stay Ahead: Keep the team updated on the latest design trends, materials, and production techniques.
Mentor & Manage: Lead, train, and inspire a team of talented designers and estimators.
Job Requirements
A Bachelor''s degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
5–10 years of experience in furniture design and/or cost estimation, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
Deep expertise in furniture manufacturing processes, materials, and finishes.
Proficiency with design software like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and 3D Max, and experience with estimation tools.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
A proven ability to balance creative vision with cost efficiency.
