Job Summary
The Information Technology Officer (IT Officer) is responsible for providing technical support, maintaining computer hardware and software, troubleshooting IT-related issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of network systems and IT infrastructure. The role also involves monitoring system security, managing data backups, maintaining IT equipment, cash register machines, and security cameras, and supporting the implementation of new IT applications and solutions.
Educational Qualification
BSc Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related fields.
Work Experience
Minimum of 1–2 years of relevant work experience in the same position.
Required Skills
Computer hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of operating systems, applications, and network support.
IT security, data protection, and system maintenance.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Technical problem-solving and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT-related issues.
Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and applications.
Troubleshoot computer, printer, network, and system problems.
Maintain IT equipment inventory and incident records.
Monitor system performance, security, and data backup procedures.
Maintain cash register machines, security cameras, and related network systems.
Support the implementation of new IT applications and solutions.
