Zitelle Group is seeking a qualified and experienced In-House Legal Counsel to join our team in Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal advice and support on business and operational matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements.
Advise the organisation on Nigerian Labour Law and employment-related matters.
Identify and manage potential legal risks.
Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Conduct legal research and provide practical legal guidance to management.
Liaise with external legal advisers and relevant stakeholders when required.
Requirements
LL.B degree and Call to the Nigerian Bar (BL).
Minimum of 4 years’ relevant professional experience, preferably in an in-house legal counsel capacity.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law.
Proven experience in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
Excellent communication, analytical, research, and negotiation skills.
High level of professionalism, integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
