About the Role
To own the company’s day-to-day financial management and human resources administration.
Keeping the company financially and compliant while supporting recruitment, onboarding and staff administration.
Job Responsibilities
Accounting & finance:
Maintain accurate books, ledgers and records; process accounts payable / receivable and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly management accounts, cash-flow reports and budgets.
Manage payroll, PAYE, pension and statutory deductions.
Handle tax compliance (VAT, WHT, CIT) and liaise with FIRS / LIRS and external auditors.
Manage procurement payments, petty cash and expense control.
Support project-level financial tracking and reporting.
Human resources & administration:
Coordinate recruitment, onboarding and employee documentation.
Maintain personnel records, contracts, leave and attendance.
Administer staff welfare, pensions (PenCom) and statutory registrations (e.g., NSITF, ITF).
Support performance management and HR-policy implementation.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour law.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor''s Degree / HND in Accounting, Finance or a related field; ICAN / ACCA is an advantage.
3–4 years in accounting, ideally with combined HR / admin responsibility in an SME.
Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage or similar) and MS Excel.
Sound knowledge of Nigerian tax, payroll and labour regulations.
