Job Summary
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive history lessons to secondary school students, helping them understand historical events, cultures, and their relevance to contemporary society.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver well-structured History lessons in line with the required curriculum given by the school.
Prepare students for internal and external examinations (WAEC, NECO etc).
Develop lesson notes, teaching aids, and assessment materials.
Assess and track students’ academic progress.
Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive learning environment.
Attend staff meetings, workshops, and school events.
Qualifications & Skills
B.Ed, B.A (History), or related field.
2+ years proven experience as a History Teacher.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian and world history.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Classroom management skills.
