Description
Our cleaning assistants play an important role in supporting several vital hotel functions.
In our hotels, these associates work with all departments (e.g., kitchen, food and beverage, laundry) to support cleaning needs.
From preparing fresh, clean linens and spotless dishes for our guests'' enjoyment, to operating and maintaining equipment and tools (e.g., dishwashers, handwashing stations, washers, and dryers), or transporting dishes or linens throughout the hotel, these associates ensure the job gets done.
Regardless of your position, certain things are essential for success: creating a safe workplace, adhering to company policies and procedures, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring your uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional.
This includes ensuring expectations and quality standards are met, developing positive and constructive professional relationships with other employees and departments, working together to achieve common goals, and listening to and responding appropriately to other employees'' concerns.
Reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management is also required.
You will be expected to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds (22.7 kg) without assistance.
You will be accustomed to working while standing, sitting, and moving for extended periods.
Reaching for objects above your head and below your knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, is also necessary. Finally, you will perform all other duties assigned by managers that are consistent with the job description.
