Job Summary
The Health Officer will support health and nutrition interventions, including risk identification, outbreak detection, PHEM, clinical consultation, maternal and child health, health education, outreach services, and supply chain management. The role requires frequent travel to project sites and collaboration with relevant stakeholders to support effective health service delivery.
Required Professional Experience
Previous work experience of at least 3 years in risk identification, outbreak detection, PHEM, OPD consultation, ICCM/IMNCI, maternal health, and supply chain management areas.
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
Experience in the mobile health and nutrition intervention areas of screening, risk communication, OPD/Inpatient consultation, outreach EPI, health education, sanitation, and child health.
Required Education, Training, License, Registration, and Certification
Medical doctor and related with minimum of three years relevant experience.
Certificate on EDks management, PHEM, MHPSS and IPC are an asset.
Other relevant field of studies with an experience of more than 5 years.
Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement
Frequent travel to the project sites and to NO as needed.
Language Requirements
English.
Knowledge of local language is advantageous.
