About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven
Head of Territory Growth
to lead commercial growth through finance sales. The role involves managing field sales teams, driving loan origination, building dealer partnerships, and ensuring sales targets are achieved across Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage Territory Development Officers (TDOs) and Territory Development Managers (TDMs) across Nigeria.
Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new clients and increase repeat clients and loan volumes.
Set and manage sales targets, incentives, and performance reporting.
Build and maintain strong relationships with dealerships and referral partners.
Ensure sales activities comply with credit policies, regulations, and governance requirements.
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Drive disbursement growth in line with business objectives.
Provide strategic input on market positioning, growth opportunities, and client engagement.
Mentor and develop the field team to build a high-performing sales culture.
Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, HR, Finance, Risk & Compliance, and other teams.
Maintain strong dealer relationships and ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
5–7 years’ experience in commercial leadership, preferably within financial services or vehicle finance.
Proven experience leading field sales teams and marketing initiatives.
Strong understanding of asset finance/leasing and consumer/retail finance.
