Description
The person should be responsible for cleanliness, infection-prevention standards, patient comfort, hospitality, staff supervision, and overall presentation of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping Operations:
Oversee daily cleaning and housekeeping operations across the facility.
Ensure patient rooms, theatres, offices, waiting areas, washrooms, corridors, and other areas are consistently clean and presentable.
Develop and enforce cleaning schedules, checklists, and standard operating procedures.
Conduct routine inspections and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
Infection Prevention & Hygiene:
Ensure housekeeping practices comply with healthcare hygiene and infection-prevention standards.
Supervise proper handling, segregation, and disposal of waste.
Ensure appropriate use, storage, and replenishment of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Work closely with the clinical team on environmental hygiene requirement
