Job Summary
Dream Orthopedics, Trauma and Spine Center is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Surgical or Inpatient Head Nurse to lead and coordinate nursing operations within the unit. The successful candidate will supervise and support nursing staff, ensure high-quality patient-centered care, coordinate preoperative and postoperative nursing services, maintain clinical and safety standards, and contribute to quality improvement and effective unit management.
Position Overview

is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Surgical or Inpatient Head Nurse. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with 05 years and above Experience.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support nursing staff.
Assign duties and ensure adequate staffing levels.
Mentor, coach, and evaluate nursing staff performance.
Promote teamwork and effective communication within the unit.
Ensure high-quality, patient-centered nursing care.
Monitor patients'' conditions and ensure appropriate interventions.
Coordinate preoperative and postoperative nursing care.
Ensure continuity of care during admissions, transfers, and discharges.
Ensure compliance with nursing standards, hospital policies, and clinical protocols.
Monitor infection prevention and control practices.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical audits.
Collaborate with physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure timely communication regarding patient status and treatment.
Manage medical supplies, equipment, and medications within the unit.
Ensure equipment is functional and properly maintained.
Monitor inventory and report supply needs.
Ensure accurate, timely, and complete nursing documentation.
Prepare unit reports, incident reports, and performance data.
Monitor key performance indicators such as patient outcomes, infection rates, medication errors, and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications and skills
Bachelor of Science in Nursing
05 years and above
Previous experience in a hospital, or healthcare as head nurse role is preferred.
