Key Responsibilities
Control and monitor generators, and auxiliary equipment.
Distribute power among generators.
Regulate output from generators.
Solid expertise in electric motors, electrical and mechanical technical skills
Operation of generator panels
Good knowledge of computerized maintenance system
Perform preventive maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair of generator systems.
Requirements
Minimum of trade test 1-3 certification.
2+ years of experience as a generator operator in a facility management sector is preferred.
Knowledge of AC / DC power.
Service generators with oil changes.
Must demonstrate technical knowledge of electrical generator systems and related engine mechanical failures.
Ability use specialized tools and follows documented procedures and policies to diagnose and complete repairs, including identifying and preparing required parts and tools.
