Job Summary
The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the aviation business and its subsidiaries, ensuring business plans are properly executed, performance targets are achieved, and operations remain efficient and profitable.
Key Responsibilities
Translate the company’s business strategy into clear operational plans and ensure effective execution.
Set, monitor, and drive achievement of revenue, profitability, operational, and service targets.
Oversee the performance of subsidiaries and ensure their activities align with overall Group objectives.
Develop and enforce efficient processes, SOPs, controls, and service standards across the businesses.
Lead and coordinate senior management teams, ensuring accountability and effective performance.
Identify opportunities for business growth, improved revenue, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
Monitor budgets, expenses, financial performance, and the effective use of company resources.
Manage relationships with key clients, strategic partners, vendors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
Ensure high standards of customer service, operational quality, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Monitor business performance, prepare management reports, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.
Support employee development, teamwork, accountability, and a positive performance culture.
Work closely with the Managing Director and management team on strategic decisions and business improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Aviation, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years’ relevant management experience, preferably in a senior leadership role.
Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
Experience managing teams, business operations, or multiple business units.
Strong understanding of business performance, financial management, and operational processes.
Experience in aviation or a related industry is an advantage.
