Key Responsibilities
Independent Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnosing, dismantling, repairing, and reassembling gas generator engines and alternators independently.
Routine Maintenance: Executing scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) services, including oil changes, filter replacements, and spark plug adjustments.
Overhauling: Performing minor and major engine overhauls.
System Testing: Testing and tuning generator systems to ensure optimal performance, fuel efficiency, and emissions compliance.
Electrical Diagnostics: Troubleshooting control panels (e.g., Deep Sea, ComAp), wiring harnesses, and excitation systems.
Job Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of hands-on experience specifically in gas generator maintenance and overhaul (experience with brands like Caterpillar, Jenbacher, Cummins, or Perkins is a strong plus).
Core Competency: Must be able to diagnose and complete major repairs independently from start to finish.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of gas fuel systems, ignition systems, and electronic governors.
Must be willing to work in or relocate to Igbesa, Ogun State.
