Key Responsibilities
Read isometric drawings, fabrication drawings and work packs.
Fit, align, assemble and prepare piping or structural components for welding or installation.
Verify dimensions, orientation, clearances and fit-up before final connection.
Use hand tools, power tools and fitting equipment safely.
Coordinate with welders, riggers, inspectors and supervisors to maintain work progress.
Report discrepancies, material issues and non-conforming conditions.
Skills & Competencies
Pipe/structural fitting experience
Ability to read drawings and measure accurately
Knowledge of fitting tools and safe work practices
Strong teamwork and quality awareness
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant degree, HND, OND, trade qualification or recognized professional certification appropriate to the discipline and level.
Relevant industrial, construction, oil & gas, marine or project experience is preferred.
Role-specific statutory, technical, offshore, safety or professional certifications shall be provided where required by the client, site or applicable standards.
