Job Summary
The Financing and Investment Officer supports financing and investment activities by assessing funding opportunities, analyzing financial information, evaluating investment proposals, and helping ensure that financing decisions align with organizational objectives and applicable policies. The role contributes to effective financial planning, risk assessment, and the management of financing and investment portfolios.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Review and analyze financing and investment proposals to assess their financial viability and potential risks.
Conduct financial analysis and prepare reports to support financing and investment decisions.
Evaluate applicants’ financial statements, repayment capacity, and other relevant financial information.
Identify potential financing and investment opportunities in line with organizational objectives.
Monitor existing financing arrangements and investment portfolios and report on their performance.
Assist in preparing financial forecasts, investment plans, and periodic performance reports.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to financing and investment transactions.
Ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations, internal policies, and established procedures.
Coordinate with clients, financial institutions, and other stakeholders regarding financing and investment activities.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Educational Qualifications and Certifications
BA/BSc degree in Economics, Management, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field of study.
Experience Requirements
At least 2 years of relevant banking experience.
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong financial analysis and analytical thinking skills.
Knowledge of banking operations, financing principles, and investment concepts.
Good numerical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and documentation.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
