Job Summary
The Finance and Administration Officer is responsible for supporting the Finance and Administration Department by ensuring efficient financial operations, handling payment processing, financial recordkeeping, reconciliations, banking operations, and administrative coordination with high accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Payment Processing & Verification:
Review and verify payment requests against invoices, agreements, and withholding tax (WHT) receipts; manage petty cash operations and replenishment documentation.
Financial Recording & Reconciliation:
Maintain accurate daily records of payments, RTGS transactions, and withdrawals; perform regular bank reconciliations and manage check controls.
Banking Operations:
Track advance payment balances, prepare RTGS/bank transfers, communicate with banks for transaction follow-ups, and distribute bank advices.
Administrative Support:
Prepare overtime, payroll, per diem, and related schedules using Excel; coordinate with internal departments to address finance-related requests and support departmental goals.
Educational Qualification & Experience Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields (professional certifications are an advantage).
Experience
More than 3 years of relevant work experience in finance, accounting, administration, or related roles, with experience using accounting software and financial documentation preferred.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles, numerical accuracy, and proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
High level of integrity, accountability, professional discretion, and ability to work under pressure.
