Responsibilities
Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber-optic networks.
Learn and support fiber cable splicing, termination, and testing.
Assist technicians with fiber optic cable laying, routing, and connections.
Conduct basic fiber testing using tools such as OTDR and power meters.
Identify and troubleshoot basic fiber connectivity and network faults.
Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance of fiber infrastructure.
Follow safety procedures and technical standards during field operations.
Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Work with senior fiber engineers and technicians on assigned projects.
Carry out other technical duties assigned by the supervisor.
