Description
We are seeking to employ a Facilities Operations Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a specified site, ensuring a safe, efficient, and positive environment for staff, customers, and visitors.
The role involves managing site personnel and activities, ensuring all tasks are executed effectively, within scope, and in line with established timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and monitor the progress of all site activities.
Review daily site operations and recommend improvement measures where necessary.
Ensure timely completion of projects in accordance with set timelines.Interpret and translate technical drawings and blueprints into actionable plans.
Coordinate and supervise site workers and contractors.
Develop and manage work schedules for site personnel.
Liaise with contractors, managers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination.
Maintain and enforce safety and quality standards on site
Allocate equipment and manpower required for project execution.
Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and properly maintained.
Prepare and present reports, budgets, and project plans to relevant stakeholders.
Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Facilities Supervisor.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering, Construction Management, Estate Management, or a related field; alternatively, significant hands-on experience in any of these fields will be considered.
Ability to interpret technical documents and blueprints.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong reporting and documentation skills.
Experience in budget management and project scheduling.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
