Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Extrusion Technician (Electrical) to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize electrical systems on extrusion production lines.
The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with PVC extrusion machinery.
Key Responsibilities
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems on PVC extrusion machines.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
Diagnose electrical faults and perform timely repairs.
Support extrusion machine setup, calibration, and production operations.
Conduct root-cause analysis and recommend solutions to recurring faults.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and report equipment issues.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and 5S standards.
Support production targets through efficient equipment maintenance.
Requirements
OND/HND or Trade Test in Electrical, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years’ industrial electrical maintenance experience.
Mandatory: Hands-on experience with PVC extrusion machines.
Knowledge of PPR/plastic extrusion equipment is an added advantage.
Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
