Requirements
Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in laundry and dry-cleaning operations.
Strong practical knowledge of washing, dry cleaning, ironing, pressing, folding, and garment finishing.
Good knowledge of different fabric types, appropriate cleaning methods, and stain-treatment techniques.
Experience operating laundry and dry-cleaning equipment, with good knowledge of proper chemical handling.
Ability to properly handle delicate and high-value garments while maintaining high-quality standards.
Must be hardworking, reliable, responsible, physically fit, able to work under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
Wash, dry-clean, iron, press, fold, and finish garments according to company standards.
Inspect garments before and after cleaning for stains, damage, special-care requirements, and other issues.
Apply appropriate stain-removal and garment-care techniques based on fabric type.
Operate laundry and dry-cleaning machines safely and efficiently and report equipment faults promptly.
Ensure garments are properly handled, sorted, packaged, and prepared for collection or delivery without damage, loss, colour bleeding, or shrinkage.
Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all laundry, safety, hygiene, and quality-control procedures.
