Job Summary
To provide high-level executive support to the MD/CEO by coordinating executive priorities, engagements, communications, stakeholder relationships and follow-up on key decisions and directives.
Provides strategic and administrative support to the MD/CEO, ensuring effective coordination of executive activities, timely follow-up on directives, preparation for key engagements and seamless interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Manages and coordinates the CEO’s executive priorities, meetings, engagements and key commitments.
Supports the CEO in preparing for meetings, conferences and other engagements by providing relevant briefs, presentations, talking points and background information.
Coordinates follow-up on decisions, directives and actions arising from meetings and engagements, ensuring timely completion by responsible officers.
Prepares and reviews executive correspondence, reports, presentations, speeches, briefing notes and other documents for the CEO.
Conducts research and provides relevant information, insights and analysis to support executive decision-making.
Coordinates communication and engagements between the CEO and Executive Management, Board members, clients, regulators, government agencies, partners and other key stakeholders.
Represents the CEO’s Office at meetings, committees, taskforces and stakeholder engagements as delegated.
Maintains an effective tracker of the CEO’s key directives, strategic initiatives, commitments and outstanding actions.
Monitors progress on key assignments and escalates critical issues, delays and emerging concerns to the CEO
Coordinates special projects and strategic initiatives assigned by the CEO, working with relevant departments to ensure timely delivery.
Supports the CEO in the preparation and coordination of Executive Management and Board-related meetings and engagements.
Maintains high standards of confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive executive and organisational information.
Acts as a key liaison between the CEO’s Office and relevant internal and external stakeholders.
Ensures continuity of critical matters requiring the CEO’s attention and follows up appropriately in the CEO’s absence.
Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by the CEO.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Social Sciences, Humanities or a related discipline.
MBA/MSc or relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
7–9 years’ relevant experience in a fast-paced corporate, financial services, public or private sector organisation.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience providing executive-level support to a Managing Director, CEO, Executive Director or senior executive.
Demonstrable experience in executive coordination, stakeholder management, strategic research, reporting and project coordination.
