About the Position
The Executive Assistant will provide high-level executive, administrative, coordination, scheduling, communication, meeting-management, and follow-up support to the Group Chief Executive Officer.
This is a high-trust and high-responsibility position requiring a mature professional who can operate with speed, discretion, judgment, and professionalism in a demanding executive environment.
The position holder will serve as an important coordinator, aide, gatekeeper, organizer, counsel, and professional mirror to the GCEO—helping protect the CEO’s time, maintain executive discipline, ensure preparedness, and translate decisions and commitments into timely action.
Duties& Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the GCEO’s calendar, appointments, meetings, engagements, and daily schedule.
Organize and prepare internal and external meetings, including agendas, materials, venues, participants, and logistics.
Attend meetings as required, prepare accurate minutes, and capture decisions, action points, responsibilities, and deadlines.
Maintain and actively follow up the GCEO’s action/decision tracker.
Coordinate with executives, departments, Group companies, customers, partners, government offices, and other stakeholders.
Receive, screen, prioritize, and appropriately manage visitors, calls, correspondence, invitations, and requests.
Professionally handle high-profile guests, government officials, business leaders, investors, customers, and other VIP stakeholders.
Maintain an organized, professional, efficient, and meeting-ready GCEO Office.
Prepare and coordinate correspondence, reports, briefing materials, presentations, and other executive documents.
Support GCEO travel, events, official engagements, and protocol arrangements.
Maintain strict confidentiality of executive, corporate, strategic, financial, personnel, and other sensitive information.
Proactively identify pending matters, upcoming commitments, potential conflicts, and issues requiring the GCEO’s attention.
Provide timely reminders and follow-ups and ensure that commitments are not lost or delayed.
Ensure the
privacy, serenity, order, and exclusivity of the GCEO’s Office,
professionally managing access, interruptions, visitors, and distractions while maintaining appropriate accessibility to the GCEO.E
Perform other executive-office responsibilities assigned by the GCEO.

Qualifications & Experience
Minimum
Bachelor’s Degree
in Management, Business Administration, Business Management, Public Administration, Office Administration, Secretarial Science, or a related field.
Minimum
5 years of relevant professional experience
.
Previous experience as an Executive Assistant, Executive Secretary, Executive Office Coordinator, or similar position is required.
Experience working in a GCEO/CEO/Managing Director’s Office is highly advantageous.
Experience working with senior executives, government officials, VIPs, investors, customers, and other high-level stakeholders is an advantage.
Strong computer literacy, particularly MS Office/Google Workspace, email, calendar management, document preparation, and presentation tools.
Excellent English communication skills; knowledge of Amharic is required.
