Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English Language lessons in line with both the Nigerian and English (British) curricula
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation
Collaborate with colleagues across departments to support holistic student development
Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and continuous professional development
Maintain accurate records and meet administrative deadlines promptly
Requirements
Bachelor''s degree in English Education, or a related field (relevant teaching qualification preferred)
Master''s degree would be an added advantage
Minimum of 3–5 years'' teaching experience in a standard secondary school
Demonstrated ability to teach effectively within both Nigerian and English curricula
Strong commitment to continuous professional improvement
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and classroom management skills
Strong time management and organizational abilities
Strong ability to deploy technology in the delivery of teaching and learning
Genuine alignment with Wellspring College''s mission, values, and ethos
