Amel International Service Limited is looking for a hands-on and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering/Maintenance Team in Lagos.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, plant efficiency, electrical safety and minimal production downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, install and maintain industrial electrical control panels.
Install, monitor and maintain three-phase industrial electric motors.
Diagnose and resolve electrical faults affecting production equipment.
Provide prompt technical support to Maintenance and Production teams.
Execute preventive and corrective electrical maintenance.
Evaluate electrical systems and implement improvements, upgrades and modifications.
Support initiatives to improve plant efficiency and reduce energy consumption.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate electrical maintenance and equipment records.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and procedures.
What We’re Looking For
B.Sc./HND in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related field.
3–5 years relevant industrial/manufacturing electrical maintenance experience.
FMCG/manufacturing experience is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of three-phase motors, electrical control panels and industrial electrical systems.
Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults and read electrical drawings/schematics.
Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance.
Strong problem-solving, teamwork and communication skills.
Safety-conscious and able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
