Job Description
We are looking for experienced and skilled Drilling Rig Operators to join our team in Ethiopia. Successful candidates will be responsible for independently operating drilling rigs and carrying out field drilling operations in accordance with project requirements and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Independently operate drilling rigs and perform drilling operations.
Carry out drilling activities in accordance with project specifications and technical requirements.
Ensure the proper operation, routine inspection, and basic maintenance of drilling equipment.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions and operational issues.
Follow site safety procedures and maintain accurate drilling records.
Travel to project sites as required.
Salary and Benefits
Basic Monthly Salary: ETB 15,000–25,000, depending on experience and technical skills.
Field Travel Per Diem: ETB 1,000–2,000 per day when travelling for project assignments.
The final per diem rate will be discussed and agreed upon during the interview, based on the candidate's experience and the requirements of the position.
About You
Qualifications and Requirements
At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Drilling Rig Operator.
Proven ability to independently operate a drilling rig without continuous supervision.
Practical experience in field drilling operations.
Good understanding of drilling equipment operation, routine maintenance, and site safety procedures.
Willingness to travel and work at project sites across Ethiopia.
Responsible, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
