Key Responsibilities
Conduct pre-use checks and operate assigned crane within rated capacity and approved lifting plans.
Interpret load charts, lifting plans, signals and site restrictions.
Coordinate with riggers, banksmen and supervisors during lifting operations.
Maintain awareness of overhead obstructions, exclusion zones and environmental conditions.
Report equipment defects, unsafe conditions and abnormal operating conditions.
Maintain operating and inspection records as required.
Skills & Competencies
Valid crane/operator certification appropriate to equipment class
Practical lifting-operation experience
Knowledge of load charts, signals and lifting safety
Strong HSE awareness and equipment care
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant degree, HND, OND, trade qualification or recognized professional certification appropriate to the discipline and level.
Relevant industrial, construction, oil & gas, marine or project experience is preferred.
Role-specific statutory, technical, offshore, safety or professional certifications shall be provided where required by the client, site or applicable standards.
