Job Description
The Cost Estimating Lead will provide oversight and supervision for cost estimate preparation, quality assurance reviews, project costing, scheduling, and cost-control activities across project milestones.
The role will also support process improvements and provide leadership and consulting to the Estimating Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with the Project Management Team to resolve project-related issues.
Participate in project meetings and discussions with internal teams and external clients.
Prepare and review project costing reports for management.
Provide cost control and planning advice to the PMT.
Support cost estimate preparation, verification, and quality assurance reviews.
Contribute to improvements in estimating processes, tools, and quality assurance practices.
Skills & Qualifications
Previous experience in a closely related position and/or cost & schedule estimating.
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
Strong project cost planning, scheduling, and reporting skills.
Strong analytical, consulting, mentoring, and computing skills.
Excellent negotiation, influencing, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry is required.
